Josh Stein Continues “Real Time with Stein” Tour in Union County

Last week, Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein traveled to Monroe as part of his “Real Time with Stein” tour, meeting with voters and listening to their concerns and priorities for North Carolina’s future. During the visit, Stein also discussed how he has delivered for Union County residents as Attorney General, including winning $23 million in opioid settlement funds for the county and certifying 237 law enforcement officers.

“As I travel across the state, I continue to hear from voters what they’re prioritizing in 2024: strong public schools, good job opportunities, and protection of our personal freedoms,” said Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein. “I will continue fighting for these priorities as Governor.”

Since becoming the Democratic nominee for Governor, Stein has traveled everywhere from Bryson City to Morehead City, meeting with students, small business owners, workers, faith leaders, veterans, law enforcement, and others to continue building a broad coalition of voters who share his vision of a safer, stronger North Carolina.
