Josh Stein Continues “Real Time with Stein” Listening Tour In Western North Carolina, Visits AB-Tech Community College

As early voting continues, Attorney General and candidate for Governor Josh Stein traveled to western North Carolina this week to continue his “Real Time with Stein” listening tour and encourage voters to make their voices heard.

He also visited Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, his 4th community college visit of this campaign, to learn more about how students are taking advantage of career opportunities in manufacturing and health care and how community college leaders see the future of technical education.

In Lincolnton, Stein discussed with voters the importance of real job opportunities in every community.

In Brevard, Stein heard from voters regarding their concerns about healthcare access and shared his commitment to affordable, accessible care.

In Shelby, Stein highlighted the importance of investing in public education and supporting students whether they pursue college or a career.

“Western North Carolina is fired up for this election,” said Attorney General and candidate for Governor Josh Stein. “People are tired of divisive and hate-filled politics. They’re ready to work together on the issues that impact us all: safer communities, stronger schools, and a healthy economy with job opportunities in every corner of the state.”

Early voting in the primary has begun and will continue until Saturday, March 2. Election Day takes place on Tuesday, March 5.
