WEEKEND RECAP: Josh Stein Rallies Voters, Volunteers On NC Strong Tour During First Weekend Of Early Voting
This weekend, Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein traveled to Greensboro, Burlington, Durham, and Charlotte on his NC Strong tour to get out the vote and rally voters across the state.
On Saturday, Josh Stein joined NC A&T’s Homecoming Parade and took part in the “Greatest Homecoming on Earth.” He also joined canvass launches in Guilford and Alamance Counties and thanked the volunteers for their work to turn out the vote.
On Sunday, Josh Stein joined St. Joseph AME in Durham for their Souls to the Polls service and the Southeast Carpenters Union for their Family Fun Day. He also joined a canvass launch in Mecklenburg County to encourage volunteers to knock on doors and talk to their neighbors about the importance of this election.
As early voting continues, Josh is continuing to travel the state, bring people together across party lines, and rally voters behind his vision and plans to expand economic opportunity, strengthen public education and vocational training, and improve public safety for every North Carolinian.
