NEW ADS: Josh Stein For North Carolina Highlights Choice Between Stein’s Record Cracking Down On Fentanyl & Robinson’s Extremism on Abortion

Today, Josh Stein for North Carolina launched two ads demonstrating the clear choice in the race for Governor between an accomplished Attorney General with a record of keeping North Carolinians safe and a culture-warrior determined to strip women of their reproductive freedoms.

While “Got to Work” highlights Stein’s leadership in tackling the fentanyl crisis, including “push[ing] the federal government to deploy fentanyl scanners at the border,” “Repulsive”  features Randi, a lifelong Republican reacting to Robinson’s comments on abortion, saying “That’s not Republican. That’s repulsive.” Randi joins a group of more than 50 current and former Republicans who are crossing party lines to support Josh Stein’s common-sense leadership.

“Our campaign continues to show voters that Josh Stein has a strong track record of protecting North Carolinians and cracking down on fentanyl coming through our border,” said Jeff Allen, campaign manager for Josh Stein for North Carolina. “In just one week, North Carolina will start voting to reject Robinson’s vision of division and elect Josh Stein: a common-sense leader with a record of accomplishment.”

Josh Stein: That’s how we build a safer, stronger North Carolina.

WATCH “REPULSIVE” HERE

Randi: I’m a lifelong Republican, but I could never vote for Mark Robinson.

Mark Robinson: We could pass a bill saying you can’t have an abortion in North Carolina for any reason.

Mark Robinson: It’s about killing a child because you weren’t responsible enough to keep your skirt down.

Mark Robinson: You want to kill that child so your life can go on being on Easy Street and you can keep running to the club every Friday night.

Mark Robinson: If you don’t like that, that’s too bad.

Randi: That’s not Republican. That’s repulsive.

Randi: Mark Robinson must never be our Governor.
