Morning Joe: North Carolina Shaping Up To Be Next Big Battleground On Abortion
Following electoral victories across the country on Tuesday, where voters overwhelmingly chose to protect access to abortion, Josh Stein joined Morning Joe to make clear that reproductive freedom is on the ballot in North Carolina in 2024. Stein emphasized that GOP frontrunner Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson’s extreme position supporting a total abortion ban with no exceptions “would work out disastrously” for North Carolina, and stressed that these decisions “should not be made by a bunch of politicians in Raleigh.”
