Josh Stein Swings Through Eastern North Carolina On Final Day Of “NC Strong” Tour
On October 13, Attorney General and candidate for governor Josh Stein finished his “NC Strong” tour in eastern North Carolina with visits to Rocky Mount, Elizabeth City, Greenville, and Wilson.
“After meeting with hundreds of North Carolinians this week, I am more committed than ever to fight for the future they deserve,” said Josh Stein. “People have reminded me that some things are worth fighting for, no matter how tough the going. Things are tough right now, but the people of North Carolina are always worth fighting for.”
Josh began the morning meeting with faith leaders in Rocky Mount, discussing the ways that faith motivates their public service and advocacy.
For Josh, there is no greater priority than ensuring North Carolinians get the quality education they need to succeed in life. At Elizabeth City State University, Stein met with student leaders to hear about their experiences and their perspectives on improving education across the state.
He finished the day in Greenville and Wilson to rally voters, continuing to build the grassroots coalition needed to win.
Josh launched his “NC Strong” tour nearly one year out from Election Day to reach voters across the state and share his vision for a safer, stronger North Carolina. Throughout the tour, has heard from North Carolinians about the issues that matter to them, including lowering costs and increasing economic stability for middle class families, investing in public schools and workforce training programs, and building safe communities.
