Josh Stein Highlights Innovation & Entrepreneurship On Forge Greensboro Tour

Yesterday, Attorney General and candidate for Governor Josh Stein visited the Gate City to tour Forge Greensboro, a community makerspace that has provided entrepreneurship and workforce development opportunities for over a decade. During the visit, Stein learned about Forge’s efforts to empower members to learn new skills to start a business, apprenticeship, or career.  

“Organizations like Forge Greensboro enrich our communities by sparking innovation and entrepreneurship in their own backyards,” said Attorney General and candidate for Governor Josh Stein. “Forge helps North Carolinians build their skills to pursue new career opportunities and better provide for their families, and it connects artisans to potential collaborators. Forge has a multiplier effect, and I am eager to see similar innovative models pursued statewide.” 

Throughout his campaign, Stein has met with small business owners and community college leaders to learn more about the workforce development opportunities and economic challenges facing North Carolina.
