“Behind this record-breaking number are thousands of North Carolinians from all walks of life who believe in Josh’s vision for a safer and stronger North Carolina and stand ready to fight back against Republican extremists who would take this state backward,” said Jeff Allen, campaign manager for Josh Stein for North Carolina. “They are fueling our fight headed into 2024, and we could not be more grateful for their unprecedented support.”
Beyond record-breaking financial support, Attorney General Josh Stein is off to an unprecedented start earning key endorsements. More than 150 of North Carolina’s current and former elected officials, including 94 percent of all of the Democrats in the General Assembly, have already endorsed Stein’s campaign, as have the NCAE, the League of Conservation Voters, the NC AFL-CIO, and End Citizens United. These leaders and groups support Stein’s vision for North Carolina and his record of accomplishment on issues that matter to North Carolinians.
The North Carolina governor’s race has been called the “marquee contest of 2024” in the country — the sole toss-up — and “poised to be highly competitive.”
