Josh Stein For North Carolina Launches New Television Ad Underscoring Mark Robinson’s Extreme Plan To Ban Abortion “For Any Reason” 

The day after the two-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision, Josh Stein for North Carolina launched another television ad underscoring Mark Robinson’s extreme plan to ban abortion in North Carolina “for any reason” – not even in the case of rape, incest, or the life or health of the mother. This ad builds on a previous spot, which unearthed a Facebook Live rant where Robinson blames abortions on women not being “responsible enough to keep your skirt down.”  

“While Mark Robinson tries to run and hide from his own extreme beliefs on abortion, voters in North Carolina deserve to know the truth: his fringe beliefs put women at risk,” said Jeff Allen, campaign manager for Josh Stein for North Carolina. “With less than five months until the election, we are committed to ensuring every voter understands the true stakes of this race – Mark Robinson would ban abortion in North Carolina for any reason.”
