Josh Stein Energizes Young Voters at Students for Stein Kickoff
This afternoon, Josh Stein visited UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus to launch Students for Stein, a coalition of students dedicated to electing Josh Stein North Carolina’s next Governor and moving North Carolina forward.
“To keep the governorship blue and defeat Mark Robinson, we’re going to need folks from all across the state to come together and vote for North Carolina’s future,” said Attorney General and candidate for governor Josh Stein. “Students know that their future is on the ballot, and I’m excited about the energy and ideas they are going to bring to our campaign.”
“I am proud and excited to chair Students for Stein because I believe Josh Stein is a historic candidate whose words and actions align precisely with our generation’s priorities,” said Sloan Duvall, UNC Chapel Hill Young Dems president and chair of Students for Stein. “This is your chance to get in the game and help deliver a victory that will make a thousand more wins possible.”
Josh Stein addressed an audience of students from UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke, and NC State who represent a variety of student organizations. He highlighted his record of standing up for students, shared his vision for a safer, stronger North Carolina, and encouraged everyone, especially young people, to get involved.
Throughout 2024, Students for Stein will help young voters get engaged in the Governor’s race, inform the campaign of their priorities, and work to share Josh’s message with other young people across the state.
