Josh Stein Continues Tour of North Carolina Community Colleges, Highlights Importance of Building Strong Workforce
This week, Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein visited community colleges in Pitt and Durham Counties, emphasizing his commitment to supporting North Carolina’s talented workforce.
“I am inspired by the students I’ve met this week, who are pursuing meaningful careers in a variety of industries,” said Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein. “As Governor, I am committed to investing in career and technical education and trade skill development so that every North Carolinian has the opportunity for a rewarding career.”




In Winterville, Josh met with students in Pitt County Community College’s construction program and learned about their path to careers in construction. In Durham, Josh toured the automotive and advanced manufacturing facilities at Durham Technical Community College and highlighted the state’s investment in advanced manufacturing jobs.
