Josh Stein Continues “Real Time with Stein” Tour in Onslow, New Hanover Counties
Today, Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein continued his “Real Time with Stein” tour in Jacksonville and Wilmington, where he listened to voters’ concerns and priorities and shared his vision for a safer, stronger North Carolina.
Stein highlighted his record of accomplishments as Attorney General, including winning Onslow County more than $20 million and New Hanover County more than $35 million in opioid settlement funds, as well as certifying 662 law enforcement officers in Onslow County and 978 in New Hanover County.
“It is always an honor to spend time with voters and hear their priorities for our next Governor – whether veterans in Jacksonville, passionate about keeping North Carolina the most military-friendly state in the country, or parents in Wilmington seeking clean drinking water for their families,” said Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein. “As Governor, I will fight for the needs of every North Carolinian.”
Throughout his campaign, Josh has built a broad-based coalition, connected with voters in small towns and big cities, and shared his vision for a safer, stronger North Carolina. As Governor, he will seek to deliver on the promise of North Carolina – that where you come from should never determine how far you can go.
