Josh Stein Continues “Real Time with Stein” Tour in Anson County
Today, Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein continued his “Real Time with Stein” tour in Wadesboro, listening to folks’ top priorities and raising awareness of ways to support their neighbors in western North Carolina.
Stein highlighted his commitment to delivering for Anson County voters as Attorney General by securing $2.1 million in opioid settlement funds and certifying 99 law enforcement officers. He also discussed his work to protect people from price gouging in the wake of Hurricane Helene and the ongoing need to invest in relief and recovery efforts.
“Every day I travel the state, I am reminded of North Carolinians’ greatest strengths: their love for this place, commitment to each other, and resilience in times of crisis,” said Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein. “As early voting starts next week, North Carolina is ready to vote to move our state forward – not backward.”
