Josh Stein Continues “Real Time With Stein” Tour, Highlights Vision For Safer, Stronger North Carolina In Chatham County

Today, Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein visited Siler City to host a “Real Time with Stein” listening session as he continues to rally voters around his vision to keep North Carolina moving forward. Stein was joined by House Minority Leader Robert Reives and State Senator Natalie Murdock.

“I’m running for Governor because I believe in the promise of North Carolina – that everyone should have a fair shot at prosperity anywhere in this state, including small town North Carolina, including Siler City, North Carolina,” said Attorney General Josh Stein. “This November, we will come together to deliver on that promise and build a better and brighter future for every person.”

“The Republican supermajority is taking North Carolina backward, from rolling back voting rights and reproductive freedom to failing our public schools,” said House Minority Leader Robert Reives. “This year, we must elect Josh as governor and Democrats up and down the ballot to restore balance to our government and deliver for working families across North Carolina.”

“The future of our public schools, economy, and fundamental rights and freedoms are on the ballot this November,” said State Senator Natalie Murdock. “I’m ready to get to work to elect Josh as our next governor and break the supermajority so we can keep building a North Carolina where every person has the opportunity to thrive.”

Since becoming the Democratic nominee for Governor, Stein has been traveling across North Carolina meeting with students, small business owners, workers, and others to continue building a broad coalition of voters that will help him deliver a safer, stronger future for every North Carolinian.
