In New Ad, North Carolina Parents React to Robinson’s “Disturbing” Daycare

Today, Josh Stein for North Carolina announced “Outrageous,” a new ad spotlighting parents’ reactions to the unsafe daycare center Mark Robinson and his wife formerly owned and operated.

State inspectors cited the center for numerous violations, including “sanitary, safety and nutrition issues,” as well as falsifying documents “attesting to their training certifications and the completion of criminal background checks that the state had no record of issuing.”

“Mark Robinson’s record of failing to keep North Carolina’s children safe should tell voters everything they need to know,” said Jeff Allen, campaign manager for Josh Stein for North Carolina. “If he can’t keep kids safe, he can’t keep our state safe.”

KAYLA: “Mark Robinson and his wife owned and operated a child care center officially cited for dangerous conditions.”

AMANDA: “Operating at times without lights or heat.”

KAYLA: “Even falsifying information and no criminal background checks.”

AMANDA: “I wouldn’t want that person to be running my daycare, my state. It’s disgusting.”

KAYLA: “The more we learn about Mark Robinson, the more disturbing it is.”
