ICYMI: Josh Stein “Launches College Student Coalition” 

“Students have a critical voice in determining what kind of future we have in North Carolina and who wins.” 

Following last week’s launch of Students For Stein on UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus, local reports are highlighting why students are supporting Josh Stein and getting engaged in the race for North Carolina’s next governor. 

Students praised Stein’s work to protect their reproductive freedoms, invest in public education, and keep them safe, issues they emphasized were “very personal to us as a campus.” They noted the “stark contrast” between Stein and Robinson, citing the Lieutenant Governor’s history of mocking school shooting survivors and failing to stand up for voting rights, saying: “It’s certainly not something Mark Robinson cares about.”

Throughout 2024, the coalition will continue “educating students [and] making sure they’re confident and empowered to get to the polls.”
